Recycled refuse is picked up every Wednesday. The type of material picked up on this day alternates between paper one week and plastic and cans the next.
Normal, non-recycled garbage is picked up every Tuesday and Friday except for holidays. If a holiday falls on Monday, there is no Tuesday garbage pick up, and on that Wednesday, garbage will be picked up instead of recycling.
