Definition and Instructions
The Village Vistas List (vvlist) is an electronic mailing list for the exclusive use of Village Vistas residents. All owners are added to the list once their purchase of a unit is finalized. They remain on the list whether they are in residence at Village Vistas or not. If anyone chooses not to be a member of the list, they must let it be known to Michael Russo, the list manager.
Once you are a member of the list, you can post messages to it using only your subscribed email account and addressing the messages to
As a list member you will receive all postings to the list in the email account with which you are subscribed.
The list is owned and administered by Michael Russo (Unit 3). If you have technical difficulties sending or receiving messages, you can contact him.
VVLIST Etiquette
Village Vistas is a community of residents who share a common interest in property and way of life. In the interest of maintaining our spirit of community, personal criticism should always be avoided on the list. We encourage residents to focus comments and criticism on the content of a discussion, and to avoid criticism of the person making a point. If you have an issue with another member of the community, confront him or her directly, not in the public forum of the list.
When responding to a list message, think about whether you are offering a new thought that should be shared with everyone, or if you are just expressing agreement or disagreement. If you want to show support for an idea or a difference of opinion, consider writing to the member individually rather than sharing it with the entire community.
On the other hand, if you are uncomfortable with an email from any vvlist member, we hope you will voice your discomfort in a tactful manner. We trust that community members will want to continue hearing from the large number of diverse voices that comprise our valued community.
